Hi–great tips, thanks. I am starting a small business from home and am thinking about getting a Skype online # rather than add another landline. Do you think the call quality is good enough for business calls?

I feel very frustrated when I have deleted a mail on my mobile device and it come back to hunt me when I eventually go online from a PC. they should fix that fast.

Thanks for this great review. As the number of people setting up personal blogs continues t increase, these tools may be useful as a free Content Delivery Network, CDN. I link to images from my blog to dropbox and these images render very well and are downloaded as fast if not faster than those hosted on my server. I do not think Box has a public folder, but I am exploring.
@frederic I learned that dropbox has a file limit of 300MB per upload so that may exlain the limitation in using it as a storage. Regarding that however, they offer extra storage if you refer someone and the person signs up. One can very easily use it in a daisy-chain manner to have unlimited storage and can even open several based on the year. I have written a bit more about this in one of my posts somewhere online.

Hi Ben!
Thanks a lot for the good article (“5 Google Apps issues we would like Google to fix”). I trully like Gmail, but I really hate Times New Roman as well – I can’t believe they render their “normal” font like that. Have you heard of any solution to this?

I have tested the lab “Default text style”, but it’s to buggy using Chrome and IE. When I press Enter, sometimes no wordwrap is inserted (and sometimes several wordwraps are inserted). The only thing that works with this lab, is to hit Shift + Enter instead – but that is annoying to.

I liked the vs, thanks for taking the time to review in details.
I also like the comments from others.
We use dropbox simply as file storage which does replace my memory stick. However sync is a problem as some devices cannot accept the gb, but I am sure it could be fix if I look at the preferences.
Box looks OK but I am confused as I am using Google apps since many years and does look very similar.
however it does look more mature than dropbox.
ZoHo.com is like Google docs using there technology.
WebDocBox.com is simple, cheap $9 and does offers an editor with templates. Email web sharing is made possible for files up to 50mb here and without signing up to read sent files. Looks great for personal or small org.

Hi Paul, I agree that all of this could be a lot more polished. I’m puzzled as to why this wouldn’t work with your account. I’m not aware of any email apps that integrate better with Exchange Online, most people prefer the native email app. I think that a larger feature set might be in conflict with Apple’s keep-it-simple policy…
